Offensive tackles

Rank Player School
1 Laremy Tunsil Ole Miss
2 Ronnie Stanley Notre Dame
3 Taylor Decker Ohio State
4 Jack Conklin Michigan State
5 Jason Spriggs Indiana
  • There was a reason Laremy Tunsil was projected to go No. 1 overall prior to the pair of blockbuster trades. He'll now go later than expected, but that has nothing to do with his ability. Tunsil is the most pro-ready left tackle in recent memory, and arguably the most complete offensive-line prospect since Joe Thomas. A team selecting further back in the top 10 is going to have a perennial Pro Bowler fall right in its lap.
  • Jack Conklin is a step behind the other tackles due to some issues with technique. Given the quick improvements he could conceivably make with NFL coaching, however, that likely won't affect his draft stock. Look for teams to fall in love with the strength and sheer physicality he brings in the running game, envisioning him as a day-one starter at right tackle.

Interior linemen

Rank Player School
1 Cody Whitehair Kansas State
2 Ryan Kelly (C) Alabama
3 Joshua Garnett Stanford
4 Germain Ifedi Texas A&M
5 Isaac Seumalo Oregon State
  • Cody Whitehair may be the top lineman in this draft after Tunsil. He can likely play tackle if asked, but moving inside to guard would get the most out of his talents. The Kansas State product has the strength, movement ability, and technique to be an impact player as part of any blocking scheme right away.
