The Chicago Blackhawks were just 3.2 seconds away from heading into the third period of Game 2 against the St. Louis Blues still seeking their first goal of the series, but they were saved by their star defenseman who returned to the lineup Friday.
Duncan Keith, back from a six-game suspension that included the Blackhawks' playoff opener, ripped a point shot over the shoulder of Brian Elliott after Jonathan Toews won the key draw.
The pair of Blackhawks led the team in scoring during last year's Stanley Cup-winning run with 21 points each. Keith took home the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the postseason.
