Friday's Winger Value Rankings
Here are theScore's winger value rankings for Friday, April 15:
Top Options
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Jonathan Drouin (TB) | vs. DET | 9 |
Nikita Kucherov (TB) | vs. DET | 9 |
Alex Killorn (TB) | vs. DET | 8 |
A Tampa Bay stack takes the cake in light of their strong Game 1 performance.
Drouin offers a top-six forward opportunity at a fourth-line price. Though he only fired three shots on net in Game 1, Drouin's opportunity is too good not to roster.
Kucherov tallied three points in Game 1 against Detroit and will continue to be the go-to-guy for Tampa Bay.

Best of the Rest
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Filip Forsberg (NAS) | at ANA | 6 |
James Neal (NAS) | at ANA | 6 |
Vladimir Tarasenko (STL) | vs. CHI | 5 |
Forsberg and Neal both enter the playoffs playing extremely well. Unfortunately, they will run up against the stout Anaheim defense which allowed a league-best 192 goals against for the regular season.

Nothing To See Here
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Patrick Kane (CHI) | at STL | 4 |
Frans Nielsen (NYI) | at FLA | 4 |
Dylan Larkin (DET) | at TB | 3 |
Kane's price is his biggest hinderance. It demands a multi-point performance preferably a multi-goal performance to truly return value. After Elliott's strong Game 1, Kane's ability to put such a night together look tough.
Larkin played only 11 minutes in Game 1 and failed to register a shot on goal. The limited ice-time is the real concern there.
