The Toronto Raptors made franchise playoff history Tuesday during a dramatic come-from-behind 102-99 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 5.

Toronto trailed by as many as 17 and erased a 13-point fourth quarter deficit thanks to a 25-9 run to take a 3-2 series lead.

Here's a look back at the improbable comeback in Toronto:

After dropping Game 4, the Raptors returned home with the series tied 2-2 and entered 3-3 all-time in Game 5.

Looking for a spark, Raptors head coach Dwane Casey inserted Patrick Patterson into the starting lineup in place of Luis Scola.

Despite the best efforts of Drake, Pacers forward Paul George led all scorers with 22 points at the half and finished with a game-high 39.

Things went from bad to worse early for the home side, as Indiana dominated Toronto in the first quarter, ending the opening frame with a 35-20 lead.

Frustrated following a blowout loss in Game 4, Raptors fans watched their team - from both inside and out - trail by nine heading into the half.

Drake continued his relentless verbal assault on the Pacers. He was routinely seen jawing at players from his courtside seat and was highly animated as Toronto began its comeback.

Trailing 90-77 to begin the fourth, the Raptors tied the game thanks to a 15-2 run that was capped off by rookie Norman Powell's breakaway dunk with 6:31 remaining.

Raptors All-Star DeMar DeRozan hit a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 4:15 left in the fourth quarter. He had missed all eight of his 3-point attempts in the series prior to the shot and finished with a team-high 34 points.

Trailing 102-99, the Pacers inbounded the ball with 2.7 seconds on the clock. George passed to a wide open Solomon Hill, who hit the potential game-tying shot, but failed to get it off before the final buzzer.

The Raptors, who take a 3-2 series lead into Indiana for Game 6 on Friday, have a chance to reach the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2001.
