Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Jose Bautista (TOR) vs. BOS 10
Matt Kemp (COL) at COL 10
Yasiel Puig (LAD) at SF 9
Mookie Betts (BOS) at TOR 9
Bryce Harper (WAS) vs. MIA 9
Nelson Cruz (SEA) vs. OAK 8
Lorenzo Cain (KC) vs. MIN 8
Rajai Davis (CLE) at CWS 8

Kemp has absolutely tattooed Jorge De La Rosa in his career; .458 average with five homers in 48 at bats. Kemp has hit lefties better throughout his career, and like most sluggers, enjoys hitting at Coors Field. His price takes a serious spike because of all of this, but he's well worth it.

Bautista's numbers against Rick Porcello aren't quite as eye-popping as Kemp's against De La Rosa, but they're not shabby either. Joey Bats is 11-for-23 with four walks and one home run against Porcello. He gets a slight edge over Kemp based on his much more affordable price.

Harper has a modest seven hits in 24 at-bats against Marlins SP Tom Koehler, but five of those seven hits left the yard. He's the most dangerous hitter in the game for a reason.

Expect Davis to get the start somewhere in the outfield for the Indians on Saturday. The speedster is 8-for-21 against Chris Sale and has consistently beat lefties in his career. If he gets on base multiple times, it's fair to expect a few stolen bases.

Mid-Tier Targets

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Hanley Ramirez (BOS) at TOR 7
Brett Gardner (NYY) at DET 7
Scott Van Slyke (LAD) at SF 7
Jayson Werth (WAS) vs. MIA 7
Mike Trout (LAA) vs. TEX 7
Andrew McCutchen (PIT) at CIN 7
Starling Marte (PIT) at CIN 7
Curtis Granderson (NYM) vs. PHI 7
Brett Gardner (NYY) at DET 7
Jacoby Ellsbury (NYY) at DET 6
Alex Gordon (KC) vs. MIN 6
Odubel Herrera (PHI) at NYM 6
Gerardo Parra (COL) vs. SD 6
Adam Eaton (CWS) vs. CLE 6

Ramirez has faced R.A. Dickey over 30 times dating back to their days in the National League. Ramirez certainly has the upper hand with nine hits (four for extra bases) in 30 at-bats against the knuckleballer. He can be a part of a nice stack of Boston sluggers that have had Dickey's number in the past.

Van Slyke usually only plays against LHP, so expect him to be in the lineup on Saturday. He's been one of the few players to solve Madison Bumgarner in his career (.452 OBP in 31 plate appearances) and can safely be drafted with his cheap price tag in both cash games and tournaments.

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Mark Trumbo (BAL) vs. TB 6
Steven Souza Jr. (TB) at BAL 6
Justin Upton (DET) vs. NYY 6
Shin-Soo Choo (TEX) at LAA 6
Carlos Gonzalez (COL) vs. SD 6
Carlos Gomez (HOU) at MIL 6
Ryan Braun (MIL) vs. HOU 6
Charlie Blackmon (COL) vs. SD 6
George Springer (HOU) at MIL 6
Christian Yelich (MIA) at WAS 6
J.D. Martinez (DET) vs. NYY 6
Billy Burns (OAK) at SEA 5
Yoenis Cespedes (NYM) vs. PHI 5
Joc Pederson (LAD) at SF 5
Giancarlo Stanton (MIA) at WAS 5
Corey Dickerson (TB) at BAL 5
Gregory Polanco (PIT) at CIN 5
Josh Reddick (OAK) at SEA 5

Stanton hasn't faced Joe Ross before, but he does the majority of damage against left-handers and hasn't hit well at Nationals Park over the past three seasons. Because of his ability to go deep in any given at-bat, he doesn't result in a complete fade, but limit him to tournament use.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Ben Zobrist (CHC) at ARI 4
Delino DeShields (TEX) at LAA 3
Dexter Fowler (CHC) at ARI 2
Jason Heyward (CHC) at ARI 2
Adam Jones (BAL) vs. TB 2
Michael Saunders (TOR) vs. BOS 2
Jackie Bradley Jr. (BOS) at TOR 2
Chris Young (BOS) at TOR 2
Hunter Pence (SF) vs. LAD 1

The top of Chicago's order (Fowler and Heyward) are a combined 4-for-29 against Zack Greinke. This not only results in immediate fades for both outfielders, but it will certainly lead to minimal RBI chances for the meat of the Cubs' order (Zobrist, Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant).

As the best pitcher on the planet, Clayton Kershaw has made some great hitters look bad, but he's made nobody look worse than Pence. The veteran slugger is a humiliating 5-for-56 with 15 strikeouts against the perennial Cy Young candidate. Don't even bother hoping he can bust out.
