Les Miles still uncertain what his future holds

Former LSU head coach Les Miles was in attendance for Jamal Adams' announcement that he'll declare for the NFL draft.

After speaking just a few times publicly since being fired back in September, Miles held court with media members after Adams' announcement, saying he interviewed for a head coach job two days ago, according to Ross Dellenger of The Advocate.

Minnesota was the last school with a job opening, but announced the hiring of P.J. Fleck Friday, after courting him on Wednesday.

When asked if he was disappointed in potentially not being on the football field next season, Miles did not tip his cards.

"It's something I want to do," he said according to Dellenger. "You want an athletic director and president that want you. If they don't want you, you're good. OK? The good news is, I've seen some great places and know more what to look for. No, I'm not disappointed."

Miles also said he did not know if he would continue to work on the media side, following his duties with ESPN for the national championship game.

Finally, a Les Miles media availability would not be complete without a quirky quote.

"You know most recently I wore a red tie, and now I have a rash under this shirt," Miles said according to Andrew Lopez of NOLA.com, a subtle shot at wearing Alabama's colors.
