NCAA Game Summary - Ohio University at Bowling Green

Bowling Green, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Travis Greene rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns as the Bowling Green Falcons posted a 49-0 rout of the Ohio University Bobcats in a Mid-American Conference bout at Doyt Perry Stadium.

Greene had 22 carries in the contest for Bowling Green (7-3, 5-1 MAC), which has won back-to-back games and is now tied with Buffalo for the top spot in the MAC East Division. Matt Johnson threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns on 12-of-17 passing, but was also intercepted once. Heath Jackson had five receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown.

Tyler Tettleton completed 15-of-27 pass attempts but for only 93 yards and an interception for Ohio (6-4, 3-3).

Greene found the end zone early as he scored on an 11-yard touchdown run within the first three minutes.

Just over a minute later Jackson hauled in a 32-yard touchdown pass from Johnson.

William Houston scored the first of his two touchdowns on a one-yard run later on in the first period.

Houston would add another one-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter.

Greene finished off the scoring in the first half with a 16-yard touchdown run that gave the Falcons a 35-0 edge at halftime.

Johnson threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to Alex Bayer in the opening minutes of the second half.

With the game well in hand, Matt Schilz took over for Johnson later in the half and ended up throwing a 24-yard touchdown pass to Ronnie Moore to further inflate the Falcons' margin of victory.

Bowling Green had a 460-172 advantage in total yards while scoring on all four of its trips to the red zone.
