NCAA Game Summary - Nevada at Colorado State

Fort Collins, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Behind school-record 312 rushing yards by Kapri Bibbs, the Colorado State Rams defeated the Nevada Wolf Pack, 38-17, in Mountain West Conference action at Hughes Stadium.

Bibbs did his damage on 30 carries while scoring four touchdowns for the Rams (5-5, 3-2 MWC). Garrett Grayson was 20-of-27 passing for 239 yards with an interception, and Joe Hansley led the team with six catches for 63 yards.

For the Wolf Pack (3-7, 2-5), Cody Fajardo was 31-of-46 through the air for 247 yards. He also led the team in rushing with 87 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Hasaan Henderson paced all receivers with 110 yards and 10 receptions.

Colorado State struck first, as Jared Roberts was able to give Rams a three- point lead after he made a 23-yard field goal midway through the first quarter.

Nevada went up, 7-3, with 4:11 left in the second quarter. Chris Solomon had a one-yard touchdown rush for the Wolf Pack.

The home team scored with a minute and half left in the first half when Roberts connected on a 46-yard field goal to bring the Rams within a point.

Colorado State scored early in the second half. Bibbs had a 28-yard rush for a touchdown to make the score 13-7 with 12:41 left in the third quarter.

Nevada answered right back with a touchdown of its own on the next drive. Fajardo had a 68-yard touchdown run to put the visitors back up by one.

Roberts made a 20-yard field goal to put the Rams up, 16-14, with 5:47 left in the third quarter.

The back-and-forth contest continued a few minutes later when Brent Zuzo connected on a 43-yard field goal to once again put Nevada up by one point.

Bibbs ripped off a 59-yard touchdown rush with 32 seconds left in the third quarter, and the ensuing two-point conversion was successful to put the Rams ahead, 24-17.

Colorado State put the game away in the fourth quarter with two more touchdowns by Bibbs, one from one yard out and the other an 85-yard scamper.

Nevada is now 0-6 on the road this season.
