NCAA Game Summary - Princeton at Fresno State

Fresno, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Tyler Johnson scored a game-high 23 points as the Fresno State Bulldogs took down the Princeton Tigers 72-56 in the quarterfinals of the College Basketball Invitational at the Save Mart Center.

Cezar Guerrero added 15 points and Paul Watson chipped in 13 for Fresno State (19-16), which will wait for other second round action to finish to determine its next foe.

Hans Brase compiled 19 points and 10 rebounds and T.J. Bray netted 17 points for Princeton (21-10).

At halftime the Bulldogs had a 33-25 lead. They connected on 48.4 percent from the floor, while the Tigers hit on just 27.3 percent, including a miserable 3- of-15 effort from beyond the arc, in the first half.

Fresno State continued to dominate after the break, hitting on 46.4 percent from the floor, while limiting Princeton to 36.7 percent in the final 20 minutes.

The Bulldogs had a 16-5 scoring edge off of turnovers.
