NCAA Game Summary - St. Francis-PA at Bryant
Smithfield, RI (SportsNetwork.com) - Ronnie Drinnon had 20 points and 18 rebounds and St. Francis-PA edged Bryant, 55-54, in an NEC Tournament quarterfinal.
No other player scored in double figures for the sixth-seeded Red Flash (10-20).
After Dyami Starks sunk two free throws to get Bryant within 55-54 with 16 seconds left, Shane McLaughlin stole the ball from Drinnon, but Corey Maynard missed a potential go-ahead 3-pointer.
Alex Francis came down with the offensive rebound, but then turned the ball over to seal the outcome.
Starks netted 19 points to lead the third-seeded Bulldogs (18-14).
