NCAA Game Summary - South Dakota vs. Denver

Sioux Falls, SD (SportsNetwork.com) - Brett Olson scored 20 points to lead the Denver Pioneers to a 71-55 victory over the South Dakota Coyotes in the quarterfinals of the Summit League Tournament at Sioux Falls Arena.

Bryant Rucker added 14 points and Jalen Love netted 12 for the fourth-seeded Pioneers (16-14), who will take on top-seed North Dakota State in semifinal action on Monday.

Brandon Bos had 13 points and Trevor Gruis chipped in 12 for fifth-seed South Dakota (12-18).

Both teams shot well in the first half. South Dakota hit on 57.9 percent from the floor (11-of-19), while Denver was a bit better, sinking 62.5 percent (15- of-24). The Pioneers led 38-32 at the break.

The Coyotes couldn't maintain their offensive pace from the first half in the second, recording only seven field goals. Denver only shot at a 41.7 percent clip itself, but it was enough to coast to victory.

The Pioneers outscored their opponents 20-8 off of turnovers and 30-18 from 3- point range.
