NCAA Game Summary - Tennessee Tech vs. Morehead State

Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Angelo Warner scored 23 points as the Morehead State Eagles advanced to the semifinals of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament with a 76-61 win over the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles at Municipal Auditorium.

Kareem Storey added 17 points and Billy Reader chipped in 10 for the fourth- seed Eagles (20-12), who advance to take on top-seed Belmont.

Josiah Moore tallied 18 points off the bench and Dwan Caldwell finished with 13 for the fifth-seed Golden Eagles (17-16). Jeremiah Samarrippas chimed in with 10 points, but on just 3-of-13 shooting.

In the first half Morehead State shot at a 42.9 percent clip, while limiting Tennessee Tech to just seven total field goals. The Eagles led 31-26 at intermission.

Morehead State expanded on its lead in the second half when it shot 46.2 percent from the floor and knocked down 20-of-25 from the charity stripe. The Golden Eagles didn't go down without a fight, sinking six 3-pointers and shooting 48 percent overall, but they went just 5-of-13 at the free-throw line in the frame.

The Eagles had a 38-32 edge on the boards and outscored Tennessee Tech 23-13 off of turnovers.
