NCAA Game Summary - Weber State at Eastern Washington

Cheney, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Davion Berry scored 24 points to go with seven assists as the Weber Sate Wildcats narrowly defeated the Eastern Washington Eagles 82-78 in a Big Sky Conference clash at Reese Court.

Joel Bolomboy registered a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Wildcats (17-11, 14-6 Big Sky), who snapped a two game losing skid and secured the regular-season conference title. Kyle Tresnak added 13 points while Jeremy Senglin had 12.

Tyler Harvey finished with 24 points for the Eagles (15-16, 10-10), who have lost two of their last three games. Parker Kelly chipped in 20 points as Ognjen Miljkovic netted 11.

Weber State shot 44 percent from the floor in the first period, including 8- of-13 from 3-point range, as it led 43-32 at the break. EWU made 35.7 percent of its field goal tries in the period.

The Wildcats connected on 53.8 percent of their shots from the field in the second frame. Late in the stanza the Eagles went on a 12-4 run to cut the lead to just two. However Kelly missed EWU's last field goal attempt and Weber State connected on two free-throws to seal the win.

Despite the win, Weber State had 16 turnovers to only six for EWU.
