NCAA Game Summary - Campbell at High Point

High Point, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Devante Wallace tallied 18 points and 10 rebounds, as the High Point Panthers clinched the Big South Conference regular-season title with a 56-53 triumph over the Campbell Fighting Camels at the Millis Center.

Wallace knocked down 4-of-6 from 3-point range for High Point (16-13, 12-4 Big South), which has won six straight and earned the conference's automatic bid to the NIT. Lorenzo Cugini also made four 3-pointers for 15 points off the bench, and John Brown added 12 points and six boards.

For Campbell (12-19, 6-10), losers of four in a row and seven of eight, Luke Moyer scored 16 points, D.J. Mason logged 12 points and 12 boards and Kyre' Hamer netted 12.

Neither team made greater than 38 percent of its field goal attempts in the first half, but it was the Camels who took a 29-26 lead at the break thanks in part to five 3-pointers.

After Campbell extended its lead to seven early in the second half, High Point climbed back in the game with an 8-0 run, and the teams battled back-and-forth until the Panthers went ahead for good on an Adam Weary jumper at the 5:03 mark. Campbell managed to score just two points over the final 5:33.

Campbell committed a game-high 16 turnovers, which High Point converted into 16 points.
