Fullerton, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Michael Williams dropped in a game-high 28 points as the Cal State Fullerton Titans captured an 84-76 win over the Long Beach State 49ers in Big West Conference play at Titan Gym.

Alex Harris added 22 points and Marquis Horne 18 for the Titans (11-17, 6-8 Big West) as they won for the third time in the last four outings.

The 49ers (13-15, 9-5) were paced by Mike Caffey with 22 points, but he shot just 9-of-20 from the floor and was charged with six turnovers as the team had a three-game win streak snapped. Tyler Lamb accounted for 13 points and Dan Jennings 13 as well, to go along with 10 rebounds. A.J. Spencer logged 10 rebounds as well in the loss.

Fullerton connected on 50 percent from the field in the first half, but the squad was just 1-of-5 beyond the arc and 8-of-16 at the free-throw line, allowing the visitors to claim a 38-35 edge at the break.

In the second half the Titans stormed back with an impressive 62.1 percent effort from the field and 6-of-11 on the perimeter, allowing the hosts to come away with the eight-point win.

Long Beach State dominated on the glass in the meeting, 45-27, but that still wasn't enough to compensate for 16 turnovers.
