NCAA Game Summary - Tennessee Tech at Morehead State

Morehead, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Dwan Caldwell scored a game-high 29 points and pulled down nine rebounds as the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles captured a 91-84 win over the Morehead State Eagles in Ohio Valley Conference action at Johnson Arena.

Caldwell, who shot 7-of-9 from the floor, also knocked down all 15 of his opportunities at the free-throw line as the Golden Eagles (16-15, 9-7 OVC) closed out the regular season with three wins in the last four outings. Also scoring in double figures were Dennis Ogbe with 18 points, Jordan Johnson 14 and Jeremiah Samarrippas 10 to go along with nine assists in the victory.

Morehead State (19-12, 10-6), which has dropped three in a row, was paced by Brent Arrington with 21 points off the bench, while Angelo Warner tacked on 17 and eight rebounds, as well as four steals. Drew Kelly pitched in 15 points and Kareem Storey 13 to go with his five assists.

The hosts led by three points in the early part of the first half, but the Golden Eagles went on to shoot 60.7 percent from the floor through the first 20 minutes in order to claim a 46-36 advantage at the break.

In the second half Tennessee Tech again shot the ball well from the floor at a 57.1 percent clip, not to mention converting 20-of-26 at the free-throw line, en route to the seven-point road win.

The charity stripe made all the difference in the game as Tech outscored Morehead State by a margin of 29-22.
