NCAA Game Summary - Eastern Kentucky at Tennessee Tech

Cookeville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Dennis Ogbe notched a game-high 18 points as the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles downed the Eastern Kentucky Colonels, 72-66, in an Ohio Valley Conference matchup at the Eblen Center.

Javon McKay logged 12 points for the Golden Eagles (13-13, 6-5 OVC), who have won three in a row. Dwan Caldwell, Shirmane Thomas and Ladon Carter all contributed 10 points.

Corey Walden tallied 17 points for the Colonels (17-9, 7-5), who have lost back-to-back games. Marcus Lewis (14 points), Glenn Cosey (13) and Eric Stutz (10) also scored in double figures.

The Golden Eagles shot 60.9 percent from the field in the opening half to their opponent's 40.9 percent, providing the hosts with a 38-33 advantage at the half.

The Colonels stayed consistent, at 40.7 percent from the floor in the second half. Meanwhile, the Eagles shot 50 percent and hit 12-of-19 at the free-throw line to close out the game.

Tennessee Tech outscored the visitors 34-26 in the paint and 24-17 in points off turnovers.
