NCAA Game Summary - Tennessee-Martin at Eastern Kentucky

Richmond, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Marcus Lewis scored 19 points to lead five players in double figures for the Eastern Kentucky Colonels, who routed the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks 89-66 in an Ohio Valley Conference tilt at McBrayer Arena.

Glenn Cosey added 18 points for Eastern Kentucky (15-7, 6-3 OVC), which has won five of its last six. Eric Stutz tacked on 14 points, Tarius Johnson finished with 12 and Orlando Williams had 10.

Myles Taylor led Tennessee-Martin (7-17, 2-7) with 17 points. Dee Oldham contributed 16 points. The Skyhawks have lost three of their last four.

In the first half Eastern Kentucky hit on 66.7 percent from the floor, including a 5-of-11 showing from beyond the arc, to claim a 42-30 lead at intermission. Tennessee-Martin only had nine field goals in the opening frame.

The Colonels shot above 60 percent from the field and tacked on another five triples in the second frame to easily capture the victory.

Eastern Kentucky owned a 21-13 advantage in points off of turnovers, leading by as many as 30 points in the contest.
