NCAA Game Summary - UC Riverside at Hawaii

Honolulu, HI (SportsNetwork.com) - Christian Standhardinger scored 27 points and collected 11 rebounds as the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors cruised past the UC Riverside Highlanders 100-69 in a Big West Conference joust at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Brandon Spearman added 18 points and Isaac Fotu tacked on 16 for Hawaii (12-5, 1-2 Big West), which ended a two-game slide. Garrett Nevels contributed 12 points.

UC Riverside (6-12, 1-3) was paced by Steven Thornton, who scored 19 points. Austin Quick netted 15 points and Chris Patton chipped in 11.

The Rainbow Warriors hit on 45.9 percent from the field and had 10 more field goal attempts than the Highlanders in the first half. Hawaii also had a 18-8 scoring edge from the free-throw line and a 12-0 advantage from beyond the arc to take a 56-30 lead into the intermission.

Hawaii pushed its lead to as many as 40 points in the second half, when it shot 53.1 percent from the floor.

The Rainbow Warriors forced 18 turnovers and had a 42-28 edge on the glass.
