NCAA Game Summary - Miami-Ohio at Buffalo

Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Joshua Freelove shot 6-of-10 from beyond the arc en route to a game-high 24 points, and the Buffalo Bulls dismantled the Miami-Ohio RedHawks, 78-55, in a Mid-American Conference tilt at Alumni Gym.

Javon McCrea recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the MAC East Division-leading Bulls (17-8, 11-4 MAC), winners of seven of their last eight outings. Jarod Oldham chipped in with 11 points, five assists and four steals, while Will Regan scored 10 in the win.

The RedHawks (11-15, 7-8) saw their modest two-game win streak come to a halt as they shot just 38.9 percent from the floor. Will Felder led the way with 12 points, followed by Quinten Rollins with 11.

Miami had the hot hand early on as it took a 27-20 lead on a 3-pointer by Will Sullivan at the 4:01 mark of the first half. The RedHawks eventually went into the break with a 30-28 halftime lead.

However, the Bulls broke the game wide open in the second half as they shot a red-hot 68 percent from the floor (17-of-25) and made 7-of-11 threes (.636).

Miami made just 4-of-14 (.286) triples for the game and also committed 17 turnovers.
