NCAA Game Summary - Colorado at California

Berkeley, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Justin Cobbs sank a pair of free-throws with 23 seconds to play in overtime to lift the California Golden Bears to a 66-65 victory over the Colorado Buffaloes in a Pac-12 thriller at Haas Pavilion.

Cobbs finished with 21 points for California (19-12, 10-8 Pac-12), which ended the regular season by snapping a three-game losing streak. Richard Solomon and David Kravish each posted identical double-doubles of 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Xavier Johnson finished with a game-high 24 points for Colorado (21-10, 10-8). Askia Booker tallied 11 points, Josh Scott had 10 points to match 10 rebounds and Wesley Gordon cleared 11 boards.

Colorado led 31-28 at halftime after shooting 44.8 percent from the floor in the first half while limiting California to 39.3 percent.

The Buffaloes sank to 38.5 percent shooting in the second half as they failed to hold on. Booker broke a 57-57 tie with 50 seconds to play on a layup, but Cobbs was fouled on the other end and forced overtime by drilling two free- throws.

The end of overtime was nearly identical. Booker put the Buffaloes ahead 65-64 on a layup with 49 seconds left before Cobbs put the Golden Bears back on top for good, as Xavier Talton and Booker both missed 3-point attempts in the last 10 seconds.
