NCAA Game Summary - Georgia at LSU

Baton Rouge, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Charles Mann registered a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Georgia Bulldogs defeated the LSU Tigers 69-61 in a SEC tilt at the Maravich Center.

Kenny Gaines scored 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting for the Bulldogs (18-12, 12-6 SEC), who have won three of their last four games.

Andre Stringer finished with 22 points and Jarell Martin added 13 for the Tigers (18-12, 9-9), who have lost two of their last three contests. Jordan Mickey and Johnny O'Bryant III each had eight boards.

Georgia shot 52.4 percent from the field in the first period, including 5-of-5 from 3-point range, as it led 30-28 at the intermission. LSU made just 35.7 percent of its field goal attempts, including 3-of-14 from beyond the arc.

The Bulldogs connected on 44.4 percent of its shots from the floor in the second half. Early in the frame Georgia went on a 15-4 run to extend its lead to 12 points. The visitors cruised for the rest of the period as the Tigers were unable to apply much pressure.

Georgia did a better job on the glass as it outrebounded LSU 37-29.
