NCAA Game Summary - Georgia Tech at Syracuse

Syracuse, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Syracuse's slump continued Tuesday with a home loss to an underwhelming Georgia Tech squad that had dropped four in a row coming in.

Trae Golden scored a team-high 16 points and made critical free throws down the stretch as the Yellow Jackets upset the seventh-ranked Orange 67-62 in another blow to Syracuse's stretch run.

Daniel Miller filled the stat sheet with 15 points, six rebounds, six blocks and four assists, and Robert Carter Jr. added 12 points for Georgia Tech (14-16, 5-12 ACC), which held the Orange to 39.1 percent shooting.

Syracuse (26-4, 13-4) is mired in a 1-4 slump following a 25-0 start that propelled the program to a No. 1 ranking.

C.J. Fair, in his final game at the Carrier Dome, scored 23 of his 28 points in the second half, while Tyler Ennis netted 18 in the setback.

The already-thin Orange, playing without a key cog in the frontcourt in Jerami Grant, received just 16 points from the rest of the roster.
