NCAA Game Summary - TCU at West Virginia

Morgantown, WV (SportsNetwork.com) - Eron Harris led all scorers with 18 points, and the West Virginia Mountaineers cruised to an 81-59 win over the TCU Horned Frogs in a Big 12 Conference matchup at WVU Coliseum.

Juwan Staten chipped in with 17 points and Nathan Adrian scored 14 to help the Mountaineers (16-13, 8-8 Big 12) sweep the regular-season series and end a three-game skid. Devin Williams recorded a double-double in the victory with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Karviar Shepherd had a team-high 14 points for the Horned Frogs (9-19, 0-16), who remain winless in conference play with two games left on their schedule. Jarvis Ray scored 13 points and pulled down 13 boards, while Kyan Anderson rounded out the double-figure scorers with 10 points in the loss.

WVU shot just 33 percent from the floor in the first half, but it connected on 6-of-12 3-pointers and took a 39-36 halftime lead into the locker room.

The Mountaineers scored 15 unanswered points early in the second half as part of a 25-4 run. They went on to shoot 53.3 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes and led by as many as 25.

Thanks to today's victory, WVU is on pace to finish in the top six in the league standings and earn a first-round bye in the upcoming Big 12 Tournament.
