NCAA Game Summary - Florida Athletic at Tulane

New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Behind a 21-point, five-assist effort from Jonathan Stark, the Tulane Green Wave outlasted the Florida Atlantic Owls, 72-64, in a Conference USA showdown at Devlin Fieldhouse.

Stark shot 7-of-14 from the field and 7-of-8 at the foul line for Tulane (16-13, 8-6 C-USA), which has won back-to-back games. Louis Dabney and Jay Hook poured in 18 and 17 points, respectively, while Tre Drye registered nine points and 14 rebounds for the hosts.

For FAU (10-19, 5-9), losers of four straight, Pablo Bertone was the lone player in double figures, scoring 28 points on 12-of-17 shooting from the floor.

FAU took control of the game early on by shooting a red-hot 59.1 percent in the first half. Tulane shot just 22.6 from the floor in the opening 20 minutes and trailed at break, 31-23.

The Green Wave turned things around in a hurry in the second stanza, opening the frame on a 13-4 run to take a one-point lead. After the teams exchanged a few leads, Tulane went ahead for good with an 8-0 spurt midway through the half and extended its advantage to as many as 12 down the stretch.

Tulane shot 26-of-36 at the free-throw line, while FAU was only 12-of-16. The Owls were also plagued by a game-high 17 turnovers.
