NCAA Game Summary - Alabama at Ole Miss

Oxford, MS (SportsNetwork.com) - Jarvis Summers tallied 20 points and five assists, as the Ole Miss Rebels routed the Alabama Crimson Tide, 79-67, in an SEC tilt at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Martavious Newby registered a double-double with 15 points and 10 boards for the Rebels (17-11, 8-7 SEC), who snapped a four-game losing streak. Marshall Henderson added 13 points and four steals and Aaron Jones had 12 points.

Shannon Hale netted a career-high 27 points to go with nine rebounds for the Crimson Tide (11-17, 5-10), who have lost three of their last four games. Trevor Releford logged 16 points and four steals, while Levi Randolph chipped in 13 points.

Ole Miss shot 42.4 percent from the field in the first half and it led 43-28 at the intermission. Alabama made just 31.8 percent of its field goal attempts but went 12-of-14 from the free-throw line.

The Crimson Tide shot a solid 50 percent from the floor in the second stanza but could not close the gap. The Rebels' advantage never dipped below six points after halftime.

Ole Miss dominated on the glass, outrebounding Alabama, 42-24.
