NCAA Game Summary - TCU at Kansas State

Manhattan, KS (SportsNetwork.com) - Thomas Gipson tallied 16 points and 11 rebounds, as the Kansas State Wildcats made easy work of the TCU Horned Frogs, 65-53, in a Big 12 Conference bout at Bramlage Coliseum.

Marcus Foster logged 13 points and six assists for Kansas State (18-8, 8-5 Big 12), which has won three of four, while Nino Williams and Will Spradling put up 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Kyan Anderson shot 7-of-12 from the field and 7-of-8 at the free-throw line for a game-high 23 points as TCU's (9-16, 0-13) winless league campaign continued. Karviar Shepherd added 12 points for the visitors.

Kansas State held a slim 27-26 lead at intermission after shooting 44 percent from the field in the opening stanza. TCU made good on just 38.5 percent of its field goal tries in the first 20 minutes.

The game remained tight until, with the game tied at 42 with just over 12 minutes remaining, the Wildcats pulled away with a 15-2 run.

Kansas State dominated on the glass, claiming a 47-24 rebounding advantage, and it outscored TCU in the paint, 32-24.
