NCAA Game Summary - Baylor at TCU

Fort Worth, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Brady Heslip shot a blistering 8-of-12 from 3-point range for 24 points, as the Baylor Bears made easy work of the TCU Horned Frogs, 91-58, in a Big 12 Conference showdown at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Rico Gathers logged a double-double off the bench with 14 points and 11 rebounds for Baylor (15-9, 3-8 Big 12), which had lost seven of its previous eight. Isaiah Austin also scored 14 points, Cory Jefferson and Royce O'Neale netted 10 points apiece and Kenny Chery handed out seven assists.

Kyan Anderson shot 10-of-17 from the field and 6-of-6 at the foul line en route to a season-high 29 points as TCU's (9-14, 0-11) winless campaign in league play continued. Amric Fields added 10 points and seven rebounds for the hosts.

TCU shot an impressive 53.8 percent from the field in the first half, slightly better than Baylor's 53.1 percent, but the Bears took a 49-38 lead into intermission after outscoring the Horned Frogs from 3-point range in the opening 20 minutes, 24-9.

While Baylor continued its hot field goal shooting in the second half (.538), TCU quickly faded from the picture by shooting a mere 6-of-24 from the floor after halftime.

The Bears connected on 16-of-27 from beyond the arc on the evening and held a dominating 45-18 advantage on the glass.
