NCAA Game Summary - Tennessee at Alabama

Tuscaloosa, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jarnell Stokes tallied 22 points and 16 rebounds, as the Tennessee Volunteers made easy work of the Alabama Crimson Tide, 76-59, in an SEC clash at Coleman Coliseum.

Jordan McRae shot 5-of-10 from 3-point range on his way to a game-high 26 points for Tennessee (14-7, 4-2 SEC), which has won three of four. Josh Richardson added 12 points for the hosts.

For Alabama (9-12, 3-5), Trevor Releford tallied 23 points and six assists, while Nick Jacobs netted 13 points.

Tennessee shot a lowly 29.6 percent from the field in the first half, but it made 6-of-15 from 3-point range and 8-of-10 at the foul line on its way to a 30-23 lead at the break. Alabama shot just 32.1 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes.

The Vols heated up in the second half, making a blistering 71.4 percent of their field goal tries as they pulled away.

Tennessee shot 9-of-20 from 3-point range, while Alabama was only 3-of-15 from beyond the arc.
