NCAA Game Summary - Alabama at UCLA

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Tony Parker scored 16 points off the bench and connected on the game-winning free throw in the final minute, as the UCLA Bruins held off the Alabama Crimson Tide, 75-67, in non-conference action at Pauley Pavilion.

Parker shot 6-of-7 from the field and 4-of-5 from the foul line for UCLA (11-2). Jordan Adams tallied 14 points, nine rebounds and four steals, Norman Powell and Kyle Anderson netted 13 points apiece, and Travis Wear chipped in 10 points. Anderson also put up seven assists and six rebounds for the home team.

For Alabama (5-7), Trevor Releford shined with a game-high 34 points, doing so on 11-of-15 from the field, including 6-of-9 from 3-point range. Levi Randolph contributed 12 points, while Shannon Hale put up nine points and nine boards.

Alabama shot 45.8 percent from the field in the first half, while UCLA wasn't far behind at 44.8 percent. The Tide carried a 34-33 lead into intermission.

The Bruins held a nine-point lead with under six minutes to play, but Alabama ran off a 14-5 run to tie the game at 67 on a Releford layup with 1:34 remaining. The Tide would go scoreless for the rest of the game, however, and UCLA shot 8-of-8 from the charity stripe in the final minute to seal its fate.

UCLA dominated down low, winning the rebounding battle, 37-26, and outscoring Alabama in the paint, 38-20.
