NCAA Game Summary - Tulsa at TCU

Fort Worth, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Kyan Anderson scored 15 of his game-high 25 points in the second half, as the TCU Horned Frogs rallied for a 70-58 win over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in non-league action at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Brandon Parrish chipped in with 17 points and six rebounds for the Horned Frogs (8-3), who now head into their holiday break with wins in four straight and eight of their last nine outings overall.

James Woodard led the way with 15 points and a game-high 11 rebounds for the Golden Hurricane (4-8), who had won three of their previous four games entering the day. Rashad Smith rounded out the double-digit scorers, with 12 points.

The Golden Hurricane led by as many as 10 in the first half and took a 36-29 lead into the break, as they held TCU to 30-percent shooting from the floor in the opening frame.

But TCU put together a 20-4 run in the second half to turn a 10-point deficit into a 53-47 lead with eight and a half minutes to play in regulation. Tulsa was held to just 22 second-half points, including only three field goals over the final eight minutes.

TCU has now scored 70 or more points seven times this season after doing so just five times all of last season. The Horned Frogs swept the season series as they also notched a 72-65 win over Tulsa during the Great Alaska Shootout just a few weeks ago, on Nov. 29.
