NCAA Game Summary - Tulsa vs. TCU

Anchorage, AK (SportsNetwork.com) - Amric Fields scored 17 points off the bench to lead the TCU Horned Frogs into the Great Alaska Shootout title game, as they took down the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, 72-65, in the semifinals at Sullivan Arena.

Brandon Parrish had 15 points and Charles Hill Jr. chipped in 10 for TCU (4-2). Karviar Shepherd collected 10 rebounds as well for the Horned Frogs, who face the winner of the Green Bay/Harvard semifinal in Saturday's championship bout.

James Woodard finished with 13 points and Rashad Smith tacked on 11 for Tulsa (1-5), which will face the loser of the second semifinal in consolation action.

TCU staked itself to a 31-22 lead at halftime after connecting on 52.2 percent of its shots from the field to just a 37 percent shooting effort from Tulsa.

After the break the Horned Frogs cooled to 44.8 percent shooting but the Golden Hurricane were never able to pull any closer than five points during the final 20 minutes.

Tulsa lost despite a slight edge on the boards (38-34).
