NCAA Game Summary - Florida Atlantic vs. Toledo

Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Paced by a 23-point effort from Justin Drummond, the Toledo Rockets dismissed the Florida Atlantic Owls, 94-74, as part of the 2K Sports Classic at Calihan Hall.

Drummond connected on 7-of-11 from the field and 9-of-9 from the foul line for Toledo (6-0). Rian Pearson poured in 17 points, while Julius Brown and Nathan Boone netted 12 points apiece.

For FAU (1-6), Pablo Bertone scored a career-high 29 points, Jackson Trapp tallied 14 points and Kelvin Penn put up 11 points off the bench.

The Rockets shot 53.1 percent from the field in the first half, as they carried a 44-29 lead into intermission. FAU shot just 42.9 percent in the opening 20 minutes and made just 2-of-9 from the free-throw line.

Toledo's lead never dipped below eight points in the second half.

The Rockets were nearly automatic from the foul line (34-of-36) and won the turnover battle, 15-9.
