Lynn, NJIT dismiss Sarah Lawrence in 100-38 drubbing

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) Damon Lynn scored 14 points and Anthony Tarke had 13 points and 10 rebounds as New Jersey Institute of Technology dismantled Division III-member Sarah Lawrence 100-38 on Friday night.

It was the first time the Highlanders topped 100 or more since a 110-46 win over Wheelock College (MA) on Feb. 6, 2014. NJIT moved to 19-0 against Division III opponents.

Lynn's NBA-range 3 two minutes into the game made him the school's all-time leading scorer at the Division I level. Lynn now has 1,734 points in his career. He passed Chris Flores, who had 1,724 points.

Lynn's 3-pointer ignited a 48-19 run to close the first half and give NJIT a 54-24 lead.

Tim Coleman had 12 points for NJIT while Ron Alston, Chris Jenkins, and Taj Price had nine points apiece.

Mat Gerak led the Gryphons with 10 points and Parker Hagmaier added seven.
