In somewhat of an odd decision, the Kings will rest Gay, DeMarcus Cousins, and Rajon Rondo on Monday after the trio helped rout the Mavericks on Sunday. With the postseason out of reach, it appears as though the Kings are simply trying to avoid overworking their regulars. In Gay's absence, expect to see more of Omri Casspi, James Anderson, and perhaps Caron Butler.
