Noel (knee) will sit out Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers and Sunday's game against the Warriors, Jessica Camerato of CSN Philadelphia reports.

Analysis:

Noel was labeled a game-time call heading into Saturday's tilt in Portland, but after team trainers evaluated him about an hour before tip off, it was determined that the center would be best served sitting out both ends of the 76ers' back-to-back set. His next chance to get back on the court will come Tuesday against the Hornets, though Noel may need to first demonstrate that any lingering soreness stemming from the bruised right knee has passed before the team reinserts him into the lineup. Carl Landry will serve as the 76ers' starting center while Noel is out.
