Kevin Love: Will not play Thursday

Love has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Lakers with a left knee injury, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Analysis:

Love got hit in the left knee during Wednesday's game against the Kings, and will sit out Thursday with lingering soreness. It's also possible the Cavaliers are just giving him a day off for rest considering Love sat out the first of back-to-back games just under a week ago. Whatever the cause is, he'll sit out Thursday's outing and should be considered questionable heading into Sunday's matchup versus the Clippers. Channing Frye is expected to move into the starting lineup at power forward in his place.
