Brandon Knight: Returns to practice

Knight (groin) returned to practice Tuesday, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

As expected, Knight was back on the court Tuesday for the first time in nearly two months. The Suns are expected to issue an update at some point Tuesday, but Knight did go through the full practice, per Matt Petersen of Suns.com. Knight hasn't formally been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, but the Suns have yet to comment on a potential return date. Whenever Knight does return, he'll step back into a starting role at point guard, which could spell fewer minutes for Ronnie Price and Phil Pressey.
