Brandon Knight: Out for four-game road trip

Knight (groin) has been ruled out for the Suns' four-game road trip that begins Tuesday against the Hornets, Matt Peterson of Suns.com reports.

Analysis:

Interim coach Earl Watson said that he's hopeful Knight will be able to play shortly after the road trip, meaning we won't see him back on the court until at least March 9 against the Knicks. Knight has been able to work out and take part in shooting drills in recent days, but he may need to get in a full practice with the team before the medical staff signs off on his return. In the meantime, look for Ronnie Price and Phil Pressey to cover the point guard spot while Knight remains out.
