Danilo Gallinari: Expected to miss three-to-four weeks

Gallinari expects to miss three-to-four weeks due the sprained right ankle he suffered in Friday's loss to the Mavericks, Zach Mikash of DenverStiffs.com reports.

Analysis:

Gallinari suffered the injury when landed awkwardly on the foot of teammate D.J. Augustin, resulting in Gallinari exiting the game and not returning from the locker room. The small forward mentioned that he believes this sprain is more severe than the ankle injury that sidelined him for six games earlier this season, so don't be surprised if he's out for much of March. Given that the regular season concludes in mid-April, Gallinari could become a justifiable drop candidate in shallower formats.
