James Johnson (ankle) will not play Wednesday versus the Timberwolves.

Johnson (ankle) will not play Wednesday versus the Timberwolves, Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reports.

Analysis:

This will be the fourth consecutive game missed for Johnson, who sprained his ankle Feb. 1 versus the Nuggets. It is not a surprise that the Raptors opted to wait until after the All Star break to bring Johnson back, so that he is not rushed back into things and has time to rest. He is averaging 5.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 0.3 triples in 15 minutes per game this season.
