Greg Monroe: Comes off bench Tuesday

Monroe will come off the bench Tuesday against the Celtics, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports.

Analysis:

Coach Jason Kidd is electing to start Miles Plumlee over Monroe, which hardly seems like an arrangement that will last beyond the All-Star break. Nevertheless, Monroe's value will seemingly take a hit in the short term if his minutes are reduced at all, though it's still expected that he'll see more floor time than Plumlee.
