With Marc Gasol (foot) exiting Monday's overtime loss to the Trail Blazers early due to injury, the Grizzlies are fairly thin in the frontcourt, as their No. 2 center, Brandan Wright (knee) remains out indefinitely. Though Gasol could still conceivably play Wednesday against the Nets, it's far from a given that he'll be available, which prompted the team to bring up Martin from the D-League. The rookie first-round pick has made just two appearances all season for the Grizzlies, but could be called upon to play off the bench Wednesday if Gasol can't go. Even if that materializes, Martin will still likely rank behind Zach Randolph, Jeff Green, Ryan Hollins, and JaMychal Green in coach Dave Joerger's frontcourt rotation.
