Marc Gasol: Will start Monday

Gasol (foot) will start at center Monday against the Trail Blazers, Eric Hasseltine of 92.9 FM ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Gasol has been nursing a minor knee injury to go along with his sore foot, which resulted in him being listed as questionable status heading into Monday evening. It appears he's going to try play through the nagging injuries until the All-Star break, when he can acquire some much-needed rest. After Monday's game, the Grizzlies will play their final game before the break Wednesday against the Nets, and it wouldn't be a surprise if Gasol remained on the injury report in advance of that contest, too.
