Dwight Howard: Suspended Tuesday night

Howard has been suspended for Tuesday's matchup with the Heat after he made contact with an official during Saturday's game against the Wizards, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston (KRIV) reports.

Analysis:

Saturday's contest marked the second game in a row that Howard was ejected, and though the Rockets attempted to get the league office to rescind the big man's stockpile of technical fouls, it worked to no avail. In Howard's absence Tuesday, Houston will likely go with a small-ball lineup featuring Clint Capela at center with Trevor Ariza and Corey Brewer in the frontcourt. Howard is expected to return Thursday against the Suns.
