Stuckey's out until All-Star break with foot injury

Brian Spurlock / USA TODAY Sports

The Indiana Pacers announced in early January that Rodney Stuckey would be sidelined for two weeks due to a sprained foot and bone bruise, but that deadline has since come and gone.

Pacers head coach Frank Vogel has confirmed that the 29-year-old combo guard will remain out until the All-Star break next month.

Stuckey has not suited up since a Jan. 12 win over the Phoenix Suns. The Pacers have gone 2-6 in the Eastern Washington product's absence.

With this recent prognosis, the 24-22 Pacers - ranked eighth in the East heading into Saturday's match against the Denver Nuggets - will have to cope without Stuckey's 9.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 steals, and veteran leadership.

Chase Budinger and C.J. Miles will likely see their respective workloads increase with their ailing running mate out until mid-February.
