Rudy Gay: Ruled out for Tuesday with corneal abrasion

Gay suffered a corneal abrasion during Monday's loss to the Hornets, and he won't be available for Tuesday's game in Portland, NBA.com.

Analysis:

Making his return from a two-game absence due to a bruised heel, Gay put up 20 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-8 FT), nine rebounds, two blocks and one assist in 41 minutes during Monday's double-overtime loss to Charlotte. However, he suffered the corneal abrasion during the second overtime period, and while he's only considered day-to-day, the Kings have already ruled him out for Tuesday. Omri Casspi will likely return to the starting lineup for a third time in four games and should receive 30-plus minutes.
