Anderson said Wednesday that he'll be out another "few weeks," despite being cleared for non-contact basketball activities, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Anderson was on hand for the Wizards' morning shootaround Wednesday and has resumed one-on-one workouts, shooting, and ball-handling drills, but he's still far away from making his season debut after undergoing surgery on his left ankle during training camp. Otto Porter, Kelly Oubre, and Jared Dudley have performed admirably in Anderson's absence, so there's no guarantee for substantial playing time when he eventually returns to the court.
