Faried (neck) wrote on his personal Instagram account Sunday that he's "doing much better" after he was stretchered off the court during Saturday's overtime loss to the Warriors.

Analysis:

Faried suffered the injury when he took an elbow to the back of his neck while battling for a rebound late in the overtime period. Upon leaving the court, Faried was shuttled to an Oakland hospital and remained there overnight for precautionary reasons, but the big man has since flown back to Denver. He reportedly still has full feeling in his hands and feet, so it looks like a long-term absence may not necessarily be in store for Faried. It's probably safe to rule him out for at least Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers, however.
