Warriors' Barbosa out Monday vs. Kings with sprained shoulder

The Golden State Warriors will chase their 29th win without the "Brazilian Blur."

Leandro Barbosa will not play against the Sacramento Kings on Monday, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons.

The 13-year veteran is recovering from a sprained left shoulder he suffered on Christmas Day against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Following their lone loss of the season at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks, the Warriors have rattled off four consecutive wins - including a grudge match against said Bucks in which the Dubs avenged their earlier defeat. In this stretch, the 28-1 Warriors employed Barbosa for 10.5 minutes per game, as the 33-year-old combo guard provided his usual valuable impact off the bench.

He is averaging six points, 1.4 assists, and 0.9 steals in 14.2 minutes this season.
